Polka Dot 1st Birthday Party

I had such a wonderful time styling my very first 1st birthday party
My client, is also a good friend, and she wanted her daughter Ava's birthday
to be so special.
Ava's room is decorated in chocolate brown with multi colored polka dots
so I carried that theme over into her party.

I handmade all the cupcake picks, birthday banner and
tissue poms!

I used small suitcases to hold the paper goods!

One of my favorite things is to frame the birthday invitation
and set it on the dessert table.  I think it ties the whole party together!

All of the candy had a "polka dot" theme
and since this party was right before Easter
the colors were perfect!

I created a kind of "drop cloth" to go under the
high chair to catch any cake that may fall :)

With 25 pictures of the birthday girl
a number 1 was made!

Happy Birthday Sweet Ava♥
I loved being able to style your very first party!!

Chalkboard Style Party

This Chalkboard style party was alot of fun to put together!
Black and neon papers created the perfect first layer on this tablescape
not to mention the homeowners amazing chandy!!

Black paper cut in to tag shapes made this such a fun
banner for a school teachers daughter :)

The timing of this theme was just right for all the bright
candies available for Easter!

I set out chalk in a bowl, so that the girls would pick up a piece and
draw!!

We filled this empty hutch with the tins and party favors...it made it look like a little boutique!

Happy 9th Birthday Hailey!!
Thank you Stephanie for letting me do this for you!!

Little Red Riding Hood Table {craft table & more}

Thank you so much for all the SWEET comments,
I had so much fun putting this together!

To see the first party post...go HERE

This chair has been in my family for years, it is one of my favorite things
and I knew it would work perfectly into this party!

This tissue pom "chandelier" hung
above the table on the patio...I made 4 poms (2 red, 2 brown),
added 3 red round paper lanterns, tied them together and
stuck branches in to add dimension

Coffee, cider and strawberry lemonade table
(before I actually brought them out :)

I chose not to do "goodie bags" and instead bought red take out boxes to hold all the crafts the girls made...cut out paper red riding hood shapes and glued them to the side

my craft table cutie :)

our first craft was tiny little "woodland globes"

I took small baby food jars, spray painted the lids red

we glued moss, a stick and a teeny tiny deer to the lid

and put the jar on top...so cute!

I found this red riding hood paper doll on line.  I had them printed at Office Depot
cut them all out and had them in bags
and the girls put them together!

our third craft was decorating small composition books
they turned out so cute too!

my Mom had found wolf pictures online, so she put them on sticks
and hid them throughout the yard....
here Little Red is SO surprised :)

The biggest hit was the "photo booth"!
the girls loved it...I took a picture of each girl and will be using them as their "thank you" cards...
they had so much fun they kept going back to it!

Not a great picture, but you can see how much fun they had with this!

Little Red Riding Hood Party {the main table}

I have had a vision of this party in my head since the first
day I started planning this party.  I knew it had to be in my parent's gorgeous
yard and I knew right where this main table would sit...yesterday my "vision" became a reality!

Thanks to the gigantic ice storm we had this year :)
many trees fell in the yard, and this fabulous cupcake stand was born!
Thank you Dennis for all the work you put into this for me~

One very happy Birthday Girl!

I have so much to share from
~the craft table
~the photo booth
~and lots of pictures of the birthday girl and all her friends...
